Mike was the eldest son of Allen and Loretta Voigt Aldag. He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Karen J.; son, Mark and wife Siok Hoon “Lauren” Sim; twin grandchildren, Morgan A. and Alexandria E.; brother, Jack Aldag and wife Sharon of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; sister in-law, Mary Logan and husband Thomas of St. Charles, Missouri; and his nieces and nephews.
Mike graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1962. He later retired as an executive of KBR/M W Kellogg after 43 years of service and involved in the Global LNG supply chain from liquefaction to receiving facilities. He served in many positions throughout the world and many of his colleagues referred to him as Mr. LNG. Mike always expressed his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of those people that he worked with all these years.
The memorial service is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning, on Tuesday, the 20th of September, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the grand foyer.
Prior to the service, the family will have gathered for a private interment at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
