Michael David Ballard

Born on September 27, 1955, in Houston to James and Katy (Griffin) Ballard, Michael (Mike) was known for his warm personality, quick wit, and unforgettable sense of humor. In his younger years, he was an avid bowler and softball player who enjoyed competition, camaraderie, and making memories with family and friends. In more recent years, Mike treasured the simple joys of life — spending time with his brother, children, grandchildren, and close friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, James and Katy Ballard; his brothers, James (Pat) and Thomas (Tommy)

Ballard; and his wife, Adrienne (Andi) Ballard.

He is survived by his daughter, Devon, and husband, James (Jay) Gasper, and son, Jason Ballard; his brother, Jimmy (Jim) Ballard; his sister, Laurie Ballard; and his beloved grandchildren, Skyler Geary, Katy Barten, and Eve Ballard; and several nephews and nieces.

Michael will be remembered for the laughter he brought to others, the love he had for his family, and the many memories shared with those who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of humor, strength, and deep family connection that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
