Michael Levi Flores passed away at the young age of 45 on October 10, 2019 after a coronary event. Michael was born in Houston, TX on February 15, 1974. He was a loving, dedicated son, brother, uncle, husband, nephew and friend.

Michael loved and lived wholeheartedly and was an avid hobbyist, extreme sportsman and proud native son of Texas. He was an adventurer who was happiest spending time outdoors sharing time with friends and family. Michael worked as hard as he played and was instrumental in the huge success of his family business ventures. Michael gave himself fully to everything and anything he did. Because he was kind, genuine and generous, Michael developed countless lifelong friendships and was loved deeply by many. Talented, handsome, charming, witty and funny, he was someone people gravitated to.

The most important thing to Michael was his family. He shared an exceptionally close bond with his parents, brother, sister in law and beautiful niece Maggie, who he cherished. He was completely devoted to his wife and fur babies and never let a day go by without telling them how much he loved them. A stand-up guy, an amazing human being and the kind of man who set the bar for what a good man should be. He will be missed terribly, never forgotten and forever celebrated.

Michael is survived by his parents, Bonnie and Narciso (Chicho) Flores, his brother Greg Flores, sister in law Jessica Flores, niece Maggie Flores, his nephew Ivan Agans, wife Kimberly Fisher, his fur babies Buddy, Igor, Poe and a multitude of extended family and friends who will miss and love him always.

The family ask that if you have any stories about Michael that you may bring them with you to be placed in a book for his niece Maggie, so that she can read them in years to come.  We will also have a journal you may write in at his Celebration of Life. If you think of something later you may also email to jessicaf@olympiadrywall.com.

The family would like to thank everyone for all their thoughts and prayers at this time.  We know how much Michael was loved and loved life.

I haven't seen Michael much during these last few years so I didn't really know him as an adult. Fortunately I had the chance to spend a few minutes with him at my mother's funeral a few months ago. I was sitting out in the lobby talking to the offiscient when Michael walked by. I saw him look at me and smile; he paused but he kept walking. A few minutes later he walked by again but this time he stopped, smiled, and looked at me. I don't remember what I was talking about but I probably had a lost look on my face. I know I was struggling to remember something so I immediately looked to Michael for help with a question. Michael didn't hesitate... he came and sat down, crossed 1 leg over the other, turned to me , smiled, and answered the question. He sat there listening for awhile. Several times I was at a loss for words so he would speak up and say "and don't forget about this..." He probably only sat there for about 15 minutes but I remember thinking what a great man he turned into!

As a child, what I remember most about Michael was his sweet disposition, his kind heart and his great smile. I am so sad we lost touch over the years...when I saw you recently, I was reminded of how kind hearted you truly were. You lived, you laughed, you loved...you will be missed by all those who knew you. Rest easy with our Lord and Savior.

Until we meet again,

cont. My only contribution when Mike was helping me build a project was the use of extra pair of hands. Other than that he was good to go and extremely focused on the project.

In conclusion, and after thinking about Mike this past week. Maybe there is a reasoning to ponder. Mike loved flying. Either with his drones or when he did kite surfing. I would like to think ,if he is in heaven, he is working behind the scenes teaching the new angels how to fly and navigate before they assume their duties.

Be safe my friend

Jet-Ski to Skateboards.. he’s always smiling and full of energy. He lived a large life making an impression on everyone he met. He will always be young and full of life in our hearts and memories.

I wish I could find the pictures of us at the zoo when we were little and all wore the same red Keds, but I remember the days well. Mike was my of my first friends, even though he was my cousin. He was always so kind and sweet even as a child. I remember swinging on the swings and singing Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds...most of my childhood memories include Mike. I am just so heartbroken about his passing. I am thankful though that I saw him recently and we talked about how we used to swing on the swings and sing our hearts out. He just was too good for this Earth I guess and God needed him more. My prayers are with all of you right now. All our love, Chay and Tory
