Michael H. Killingsworth

Our beloved husband and father, Mike Harvel Killingsworth was born on March 22, 1940 in Houston, Texas. He has gone to be with our Lord on December 4, 2013. Mike is preceded in death by his son, Kent Killingsworth; mother, Adrienne Evans; daddy, Alfred C. Evans; father, Harvel Killingsworth. He leaves to cherish his memory: loving wife, Laverne Killingsworth; daughter, Kerry Gill; son, Keith Killingsworth; stepsons: Ricky Cloninger & wife Charlotte, Larry Cloninger & wife Lesia; grandchildren: Heather Blaylock, Kristin Chavez, Dylan Gill, Justin Killingsworth, Corey Killingsworth, Ashley Killingsworth; step grandchildren: Deanna Hamilton, Ricky Cloninger , Jr., Michelle Cloninger, Larry Cloninger, Jr., Jesse Cloninger; sisters: Sandy Sturm & Debbie Kreusel; nephews: Erin Pudifin & Ryna Pudifin; niece, Kelley Tomlin; along with many great grandchildren, great nieces & nephews. He was an active member and President of the Church Council at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cleveland, Texas. Mike had a long and respectful career in the glass industry with so many life long friends. He loved fishing his whole life and cherished the time he spent on the bay at Bolivar. Mike always had a smile on his face, loved to laugh and make others laugh with him. He had a heart bigger than Texas. The family will receive friends from 5-9PM on Friday, December 6, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, December 7, 2013. Both services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Mike Killingsworth Living Fund Care in care of Pastor Mark Anderson, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 901 Plum Grove, Cleveland, Texas 77327.
