Michael S Mather

Michael Scott Mather graduated from Lafayette High School in 1970 and attended USL in Lafayette, LA. He spent his career in Oilfield Sales with the majority of that time associated with Frank's Casing and Franks International.

Michael was an avid sports fan following the local Houston teams. His lifelong hobby was golf and enjoyed getting on the links as much as possible.

He was preceded in death by his parents – his Father, Walter Scott Mather and Mother, Jean Carter Mather.

He is survived by his wife, Tammie Weatherford Mather; Brother, Gary Mather and wife Connie Mather; nieces, Sera Boudeaux and Jazmyn Chapman and her husband Trey; his Brother, David Mather; his niece, Jennifer Brewer and husband Ryan Brewer; his nephew, Scott Mather and wife Rebecca Mather; as well as his sister-in-law, Debbie Weatherford; his Brother-in-Law, Eddie Weatherford and wife Cheryl Weatherford.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 2 pm following the Celebration of Life Cater Reception from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
