Michael was born on August 6, 1983. Happy, loving, full of life from the very beginning. Early on he loved to swim and became quite the diver. Michael was an avid sports guy, playing team sports early on--baseball, football and basketball throughout his childhood to his high school days at Westfield High School, class of 2001. Michael had many life-long friends. Michael's biggest interest was the stars and the sky above him. He would speak of his wonder and knowledge of our universe. Michael had a kind and compassionate soul. Michael found good in everyone and was very forgiving. He loved his family and friends. We will all miss his bright blue eyes, that beautiful smile and the sound of his laughter. Michael is now in heavenly peace. It has come his time that the Lord called him home. The separation from Michael is so hard to all of us that knew him, but the reunion will be beautiful. Christ gave up a happy ending in mortality to ensure a happy ending in eternity.

Have I not commanded you
Be strong and courageous
Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged,
for the Lord your God will be with
you wherever you go.
