Michael Ardell Wilson

On December 6th, 1960, God blessed Ola Lee Foley and Percy Wilson with a beautiful baby boy named Michael Ardell Wilson. Michael was raised by his beloved parents Henry and Ola Sims. He accepted Christ at an early age and was the eldest of six siblings.

He received his education in Houston, TX where he studied welding and driving. He worked as a welder and later chose a career in the Transportation Industry as a driver. With hard work, determination and an entrepreneurial spirit he successfully owned and operated Wilson Fuel Company before retiring.

Michael and Diane were married and blessed with 3 sons Blake, Gregory and Jeremy of Houston, TX and grandchildren Laila, Jacob, Damian, and Cassidy. Michael was a devoted husband, loving father and proud grandfather. He adored and cherished his family.

On Thursday May 1st, 2025, God called Michael home with his family at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry & Ola Lee Sims, and father Percy Wilson.

Michael leaves to mourn his sons Blake Michael Wilson (Sherri), Gregory Ardell Wilson (Tiesha), Jeremy Wayne Wilson (PJ), grandchildren Laila Wilson, Jacob Wilson, Damian Wilson and Cassidy Wilson, sisters Janice Sims, Edra Sims, Karen Haynes, Janna Sims, Rena Wilson, brother Albert Wilson, uncles Hilliard Wilson, Elwood Wilson, Louis Wilson Jr., and aunt Ida Williams a host of nephews, nieces cousins relatives and friends.
