He is survived by his wife, Brenda Garza, his son Christopher Garza, and his daughter Christy Garza. Miguel is also survived by his parents Miguel and Rosa Garza, his brothers and sisters Liborio Garza, Maria Almaguer, Norma Garza, RosaMaria Ramirez, Matias Garza, Elvira Albarran, Esmeralda Gonzalez, and Aritza Garza.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, September 1st from 9am-12pm and the funeral service will begin at 12:00pm at Brookside Funeral Home, Cypress Creek. 9149 Hwy 6 North, Houston Texas. Graveside Service will take place at 1:45pm at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Drive Houston, Texas 77055
