

Milton (Michael) Stewart was born on June 15, 1957, to Nolan and Ida Stewart in Houston, Texas. A graduate of M.C. Williams High School, Milton was a standout member of the school’s renowned drama troupe under the direction of C. Lee Turner, contributing to multiple state competition victories, including a 1st Runner-Up finish for “The Wizard of Oz.” He went on to earn his degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. In his youth, he was a devoted member of the choir at Yale Street Tabernacle Church of God in Christ.
Milton was known for his unwavering work ethic and dedication to his professional roles. He served his community as a real estate agent at HomeSmart Realty, a security professional at Spartan Security, and a dedicated salesman with Veterans System Communications. Above all, Milton was a devoted family man who prioritized the needs of his loved ones. He was a loving husband to Denise and a proud father to his children, Julian and Allyson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Ida Stewart; his brothers, Ernest, Jerry, Gregory, Norman, and Donald; his stepbrother, Sammie Lee Gordon; and his stepsisters, Debra Wiggins and Evelyn Gordon.
Milton’s memory will be cherished by his wife, Denise Guel; his children, Julian and Allyson Stewart; his sister, Vanassa Humphrey (Tommy Lee) of Dallas, TX; his stepmother, Mrs. Ora Jean Stewart; stepsister, Ava Holland; stepbrothers, Robert Moore, Carl Gordon, and Jarvis Woodruff; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
