Dr. Talieh came to the United States from Iran in 1970 and lived most of his life in Houston Texas. He committed his life to the practice of General Surgery for a total of 58 years, his faith , his family and his community . Dr. Talieh. was an accomplished surgeon who touched the lives of many with his kind words, skill and faith. He loved poetry, traveling, and most of all the company of family, friends, and community. He taught the Quran for over thirty years and was especially proud of his role in establishing the Bonyad community center. He lived passionately and loved life and living and especially loved to make everyone laugh with the stories he shared. Mohammad Talieh was the son of Bagher Talieh a Supreme Judge and the great nephew of Mirza Hassan Roshdieh , the creator of public schools in Iran. Dr. Talieh was an advocate of science and education and a promoter of new ideas. He alway reminded us during the Persian New year ceremony to follow the path of righteousness and to use all the talents that God graced us with. He also accompanied this message with a childlike humor that made him connect to everyone ,especially each of his eleven grandchildren in their own way. His loss will leave a void in our hearts and the hearts of many who loved him.
Our family is grateful that he is at peace with his Creator.
