There are few people in your life that make a lasting impression and make a difference in your life. Molly was that person to me as I began my career in Klein. She was a mentor and friend.
She’s a treasure I hold dear in my heart.

Thinking of Molly McLaurin, the mother of Jamie, Mary & Martha McLaurin, since her passing last week. I met Mrs. McLaurin visiting Jamie on many occasions when I was younger, starting when I was in junior high. I always visited Molly & Charlie whenever I made it home to Houston on various vacations. Even when Jamie & Charlie had passed, I would make it over to visit with Molly and talk about “old times”! My final visit was when she was living at her nursing home in the Heights about a year ago. It was an interesting talk about the time she was growing up in San Antonino and stories about how her parents met in Washington DC. We talked about the humorous stories involving her family and neighbors on Chamboard Lane. Molly was quite a lady who was also a strong woman in a petite body! The memories are big and vivid and will be cherished until my end........

Molly was an amazing woman. I was mesmerized by her strength as she cared for Jamie throughout his illness & during his memorial service. I have wonderful memories of spending time in the McLaurin home with Molly & Charlie. I am a better person for having known Molly. I ‘m so happy I was able to visit with her over the past few years.
