Monica Puckett

Monica was born on April 17, 1933 in Rosario, Bohol, Philippines to Adriano and Faustina Jumamil. She was a loving, faithful wife to Marvin Mark Puckett, Sr., who preceded her in death. She is survived by her children Darline Poynter, Marvin Puckett, Jr., Warren Puckett, and Karen Gilbert, along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Monica was a remarkable woman. She was a wonderful combination of warmth and kindness, laughter and love. She overlooked our faults, encouraged our dreams, and praised our every success. She had the wisdom of a teacher, the serenity of a true friend, and the tenderness of a mother. She was someone we admired, respected, and loved very much. She will always have a cherished place in our memories and hearts. She is someone for whom we want every happiness in return for the joy she always brought. She made a great impact in everyone’s hearts that she had come across. She will always be loved and never forgotten.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 9am to 10am at American Heritage Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at 10am at Houston National Cemetery.
