Mr. Albert Jones

On December 9, 1921 Albert Jones was born to Willie and Della (Williams) Jones.  He is preceded in death by his parents; Willie and Della Jones, brothers; Willie Jones Jr. and Richard Jones, sons; Lamonte Bush Sr. and Paul Andre Jasper. Albert lived in Monroe, Louisiana where he enlisted into the United States Army during World War II.  He returned to Houston, Texas in 1960 where he became employed with Union Pacific.  In 1984 he became employed with Delta Concrete and Finisher as a diligent Concrete Finisher for twenty-nine (29) years. During his timeline in Houston, he met his beloved wife; Sandra Jones and united with their children; Lamonte Dewayne Bush Sr. (Tangela Qualls) and Lachundra Bush-Eli (Lee Eli Jr).  Later he adopted Latosha DeWalt, Ashley DeWalt, and DeVente DeWalt as he exemplified very caring and loving fathering.  Albert, which most people knew him as “AJ” within his presence there were very few strangers as he was known by many.  As a joyful and heartful individual he always endured a love for family.  His favorite past time was gathering with friends and family which he and his wife loved to host. He leaves to cherish in his memory: his wife; Sandra Jones, brother; Henry Jones, children; Lachundra Bush-Eli(Lee), Latosha DeWalt, Ashley DeWalt and DeVente DeWalt, sisters-in-law; Mary Williams, Carol Eckels, Rosette DeWalt, Yolanda DeWalt, Angela Mitchell and Tonya King; brothers-in-law;  Bobby Williams, Don Mitchell and Don King, grandchildren; Alexus Collins, Lamonte Bush Jr., Darrius Jones, Endyia Bush, Montia Bush, Laundyn Bush, Angle Bush, Delicia Francis, Shannon Sam, Mailhk Alexander and Jaida McGowen, great grandchildren; Kelondric Stewart Jr., Keelon Stewart and Kamia Stewart, godmother-in-law; Essie Gainous and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
