Mr. James Calvin Young Jr.

James Calvin Young, Jr. was born on January 12, 1945 to Mary Lee Young and James Calvin Young Sr. in Conroe, Texas.  James was the eldest of three children and was adored by his siblings.  He was a product of Conroe Independent School District.  He served in the United States Army where he received an honorable discharge.   On September 23, 1967, he married the love of his life, Mary Faye Mayshack and was blessed to enjoy 48 years of wedded bliss.  Mary went home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2016. James was employed for 33 years with FMC Technologies.  He was a stellar employee, receiving numerous awards.  He retired from FMC in 2010.  James was a friendly soul, he never met a stranger.  He will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. Those Who Will Cherish His Memory James is survived by his daughter, Layla Eagleton; grandchildren, Anthony O’Dell Robinson (Rebecca Adams), Laysha’ Antoinette Robinson and Christian A. Robinson; mother-in-law, Dessie Mayshack; sister-in-law, Dr. Connie Webster Pearson (Clarence) of Hampton, VA; brother-in-law, James Walker; three nephews; god-daughter, Frederica Gordon and grand god-children, Jayla, Cleveland IV., Grant Gordon and a host of cousins and friends.
