Mr. Joseph Imail Martin Sr.

Joseph Martin was born the second to the youngest of six children on January 25, 1960, in Houston, Texas to the late Robert and Theresa C. Martin. Joseph confessed his faith at an early age while he attended Saint Gregory Catholic Church. As he began to grow older in Christ, Joseph became a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church where he also became an ordained minister. In his final months, he began to renew his relationship with God and Christ through true repentance and his knowledge of the truth in Christ carried him to his freedom as he went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2018. On September 6, 2008, he was joined in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Tina Minger Martin . His most treasured moments were spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, sisters, brothers and many other family and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents (Robert & Theresa C. Martin), brothers (James & Paul Martin) and grandmother (Theresa Charles). Joseph leaves to cherish his memories his darling wife (Tina Minger Martin), three sons (Joseph Martin, Jr, Cameo Martin & Donminee Martin), one beautiful daughter Tarshanna Smuthers, two daughter in laws (Elizabeth Martin and Cernita Bennett), one son in law, (James Smuthers), one brother (Arnold Martin), two sisters (Vanessa Brooks & Angela Martin,...sixteen grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and loved ones.
