He faithfully served at the Temple of Jesus Christ Baptist Church, Word of God Holiness Church and Wings of Faith Church, until his health began to fail. L. D. Jr., never married or had children. His favorite song was “Amen.”
He is preceded in death by his parents, L. D. Harris, Sr., and Ora Bell McGee−Harris; and his sister, Retta Harris; and nephew, Scottie Russell.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, three sisters, Mary Lou Harris, Katherine (Earnestine) Harris, and Jeanette (Raymond) Russell; two brothers, Chester (Espinola) McGee and Melvin Harris; 30 nieces and nephews, eight great−nieces and great−nephews; other relatives and friends.
