Mrs. Alberta Jones

Alberta Jones, age 78, of Houston, TX, was born July, 18th 1941. She passed away on the 4th of February, 2020 at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving daughter of MC Johnson and Bertha Moore. She lived in Marshall TX. until the age of four later moving to Houston, TX. In 1958 she married Clarence Williams Jones Sr. and went on to conceive four children.

Alberta, who was known as Maw-Maw was out spoken with a big personality.

She loved to cook, do crossword puzzles, play card games and watch sports. (Rockets & Texans)

In addition, she was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Alberta loved family gatherings and spending time with her kids.

Alberta is preceded in death by her husband Clarence William Jones Sr., Mother Bertha Moore, Father MC Johnson, Daughter Cynthia Jones Dorsey, sibling Oscar Moore and one great-great grandson Yamarrian.

She is survived by her children Charlene Thomas of Humble, Texas, Marie Lewis of Hempstead, TX, Clarence Jones (Cynthia) of Humble, TX, Jannifer Jones of Houston, Texas and Reginald Jones Sr. (Tiffany) of The Woodlands, TX. Nineteen grandchildren, 27 Great grandchildren and two Great-Great Grandkids, Yamarrian & Ta’Niya.
