Mrs. Annie B. Wheaton

Annie B. Wheaton and her twin sister Annie Mae were bornOctober 10, 1930 to John Taylor and Theresa Gordon Young in LakeCharles, Louisiana. Annie B. attended Bruce Elementary, E.O. Smith and Phyllis WheatleyHigh School. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Sherman Wheatonon August 7, 1948. They celebrated 63 glorious years of marriage andto this union 4 children were born. Annie accepted Christ at an early age and she continued hercommitment as a member of Lyons Unity Missionary Baptist Churchwhere she served on the Nurse’s Board under leadership of PastorO.C. Johnson until her health begin to fail. She was a loving wife/housewife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She loved to make people laugh. Annie B. Wheaton passed away peacefully on September 4, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Wheaton, parents,John Taylor and Theresa Gordon Young, two brothers, Arthur Taylorand Houston Taylor, twin sister Annie Mae Taylor who died at birth,sister Edna Taylor Henderson and her loving son Willie Earl Wheaton. She leaves to cherish her memory her son; Michael Eugene Wheaton(Sheila), daughters; Wanda Wheaton Brown and Portia WheatonBigham, grandchildren; Bradley Bigham (Kirstin), Brandon Wheaton,William Wheaton, Lisa Wheaton (Louis), LaTonya Wheaton Gray(Rodney), Brittany Wheaton, great-grandchildren; Devonte Potier,Braydon Wheaton, Persia Gray, Auriel Gray, Ryley Bigham, RheeceBigham, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
