Mrs. Jacketha Monnet Perkins

In Houston, Texas on February 28, 1985 a precious baby girl was born to Jocquea Shea (Murphy) Perkins and James Joseph. They named her Jacketha Monnet Perkins.

On January 13, 2000 a handsome baby boy was born named DeWayne Curtis Lenor, Jr. whom she loved and adored.

Jacketha attended Alphonso Crutch High School in Houston, Texas. She was a proud owner of her own business “First Class Fragrance”. Jacketha was well known as the “Smell Good Lady”. She was extremely hard working, outgoing, feisty, outspoken, courageous and always the life of any party.

Jacketha accepted the Lord as her personal Savior on 2/8/2014 at Grace Church of Humble in Humble Texas. She was grounded in faith at Lorraine Street Church Of God In Christ.

Jacketha was united in holy matrimony to Kyle Scott Jones on 10/6/2012.

She leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memories a husband: Kyle Scott Jones, son: DeWayne Curtis Lenor, Jr., mother: Jocquea Shea (Murphy) Perkins, brothers: Jacques Perkins, Jackevian Perkins, Javorrick Perkins, and Joshua Perkins, sister: Jashondra Perkins, cousin/sister: NaToya Murphy, grandmother: Allie Faye Murphy, grandfather: (deceased) Ernest “King Dog” Murphy, mother-in-law: Linda Williams, father-in-law: Melvin Williams, along with a brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and a host of special aunts, uncles, nephews, and friends.
