Janice Carol Nelson was born on July 13, 1948 in Houston, Texas to Allen and Willie Mae Nelson. Janice attended Kashmere High School and there after married James Sonny Wright. To this union they had two (2) sons; Kelvin and Shanon Wright. Janice was a faithful and active member of her church; Open Door Deliverance which she served under the leadership of Reverend Malizone until her untimely death. Janice is preceded in death by her beloved parents; Allen and Willie Mae Nelson, three (3) sisters; Willie Jean, Ruthie Marie and Ida Mae, her two (2) brothers; Isaiah and John Lee Nelson. She leaves to cherish in her memory: her sons; Kelvin and Shanon Wright, her grandchildren; Ashley McDowell, Jarius Wright, Raymard and Raynard Wright, Shanon Jr., Angel Wright, Ta’Nya Jordan and Jayden Wright and great grandchildren; Rayden Wright and Za’Maria McDowell, her brother; Thomas (Butch) Richard Sr. and her sister; Rybin Nelson along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
