On September 21, 1964, an angel was delivered to Mr. William Roberts and Mrs. Vivian Castille Roberts they named that the exceptional beautiful perfect baby girl Melonie Ann Roberts. She was raised on the Northside of Houston, Texas in the Scenic Woods Community. Melonie set off in the world taking her very 1st academic steps at W. E. Rogers Elementary School, later she became a proud graduate with the class of 1983 from Mary Brantley Smiley High, home of the Eagles. In her years there she was an active in a number of activities, such as The Acapella Choir, The Library Club, and The Health Occupation Club. She accepted the Body and Blood of Christ receiving her Holy Communion and the Holy Celebration of Confirmation to strengthen her faith in Christ.
Melonie lived her life as one of the most unique rare salt of the earth true Christians, very much as the scripture in Ephesians 4:32 (ESV) / Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Her smile which could light up a room, her openly affectionate fondness for caring about the needs of others came across immediately upon meeting her. It’s no wonder she became one of the BEST most “loved” Clinical Medical Assistant/Unit Secretary at St. Joseph for twenty-five...YEARS, and then later step into the role of Administrative Coordinator to the Education Department for three more year. She reluctantly and graciously resigned from her St. Joseph family in 2018, to start a new chapter of her life with Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Childrens Global HOPE Hematology and Oncology creating more memories and bonds with a new family, enjoying each day.
Her primary strategy for success in all areas of her life, I would say was definitely caring! She cared about all of her family members. She cared about her relationships with people at work and people in her personal life. Every aspect of Melonie life conveyed acts of love and caring in her attitude which sparked her movements throughout her entire life. She lived a life which clearly demonstrated qualities of what a wonderful, beautiful and caring woman should exemplify.
On January 20, 2020, Melonie Ann Roberts Allison went home to be with the Lord.
Proceeded in death by her only son Brandon Roberts, and her brother Peter Castille Roberts, she leaves in Gods care to cherish her memories and a legacy are her husband of Fred Allison Jr., parents William Roberts and Vivian Castille Roberts, one sister: Donna Roberts Jackson (husband David), two brothers: Michael Eric Roberts, William Anthony Roberts (wife Cheratta), two nephews: Jeremy Joseph and Justin Joseph, two nieces: Ariel Roberts and Kendal Roberts and a host of relatives and friends.
