

Life's Journey Pearlie Marie Tyrone was born on January 12, 1943 in Houston, Texas, to her parents father Eddie Turner who passed away in 1968, and mother Ruby Turner who passed away on December 21, 2014. She was the oldest of nine children born to this union. Pearlie Marie Tyrone attended Carver High School in Houston, Texas; her highest education was the 12th grade. She then met Leroy Devine and to this union a daughter was born (Susie) who was raised by Pearlie's mother for the first 16 years of her life and then moved with mom after that. She then met and married Ben Earnest Tyrone Sr. and to this union eleven children were born; three preceded her in death, Kelvin E. Tyrone Sr., Ben E. Tyrone Jr. and aother son. Her husband passed away on March 26, 2011. Pearlie Tyrone was a devoted and loving wife who cared deeply for God, her children, family and friends. She attended church every time the doors open with her kids taking up almost 2 pews. She had no need to work everything was provided by her spouse. She sung in the choir and became a Sunday school teacher, she did have a special place in her heart for the children. After her children were able to care for themselves, she then became the secretary of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend B. J. Lewis, until the present Pastor, Raymond Hillis. She devoted twenty-five years of service as the secretary, and was very proud of her job. She loved to serve the people of God. She was a faithful member if you called her she was there. She continued to serve in this position until her health began to fail. She leaves to cherish her memories four daughters "Susie" Marian Robertson (Gerard), Angela Denise Tyrone (BJ), Tracey Yvette Shaw (Cedric) Pamela Linette Allahar, (Chris), five sons Timothy Wayne Tyrone, Mark Anthony Tyrone, Donald James Tyrone, Ronald James Tyrone, Christopher Tyrone, Kelvin Tyrone Jr. grandson, and Shaquavia Tyrone granddaughter whom she raised. Twenty-nine grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She leaves six brothers, Leon M. Turner (Linda), Charles A. Turner, Sylvester Turner, Robert E. Turner, Clifford Turner, Donald R. Turner, step-brother Everett Turner (Doris) in San Antonio, Texas; two sisters Patricia Ann Dinnon and Jacqueline Turner; step-sister Mattie Thomas in California, 6 sisters-in-law, 2 brothers-in-laws and a host of nieces, nephews and close friends
