Shira P. Leigh, was born on July 1, 1973 to Claudia Lincoln and the late Anthony Strauder in Houston, Texas. Shira graduated from Nimitz High School and attended the University of Houston where she attending the School of Nursing and became a nurse (LVN) and later a paramedic. She acdeoted Christ at the age of 15 and became a member of Greater Twilight Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Willie Morrison. Shira and Rickey met in 1992, married in 1995 and the rest is history. She leaves to mourn: her husband, Rickey Leigh; mother, Claudia Lincoln; aunts; aunts; Mary Jason (Arthur), Althea Guillory and Lynn Coutee (Joe); uncles; Kelvin Lincoln (Vershell) and Billy Madkins; mother-in-law; Calmelia Leigh, sister-in-law, Treana K. Lee; godmother, Georgia Calhoun; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
