Mrs. Stephanie Renee White McLaurin

On January 26, 1963 a beautiful baby girl was born to Emmitt and Shirley White and they named her Stephanie Renee White in Houston, Texas.   Stephanie confessed to Christ at an early age and was baptized under the leadership of Rev. B.J. Lewis at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. She later joined Brookhollow Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Ralph D. West.  Stephanie was an active member and served faithfully in the First Impression Ministry.    She attended the Aldine Independent School District and graduated from Nimitz High School with the Class of 1981. Stephanie participated in several organizations which includes Drill Team, Drama Club and the Band. She served as the Event Coordinator for the Carver HS Freshman Class of 77-78 reunion. Stephanie was currently working at Methodist Hospital. She was well known and loved by many, for she had a great zest for life.   On September 16, 1995, she was united in Holy Matrimony to Craig Blair McLaurin. To this union one child was born Christian Blair McLaurin.    Stephanie entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 9, 2019. She preceded in death her grandparents; Frank and Myrtle King; Augusta and Josephine White.   She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories: husband, Craig McLaurin; daughter, Christian McLaurin; step-son, Craig Vincent; mother, Shirley Harris (Eugene); sister, Chantel Harris (Shederick); brother in law, Brain(Anelle); aunt, Lula Roberson (Fred); mother in law, Delores McLaurin; nephews, Brian, Nicholas and Kole; godchildren, Andre, Brionne and a host of cousins and friends.
