Myong Sun Kane

Born on April 27th, 1950 in Pyongyang Korea to Yi Sang Ok and Yi Young Bom. Myong grew up in Dongducheon Korea, and met her husband Ronald Kane at Camp Casey. She was married on July 15th 1974.

Myong moved to the United States and was a barber, owner of Sue's Barber Shop. She enjoyed gardening and rescued many animals in her lifetime. Myong and her husband raised their two nieces Jeannie and Jennifer, as well as their granddaughter Siera.

Myong is survived by her brother Yi Chong Hui, step daughter Michelle and step son RD, nieces Jeannie and Jennifer, nephews Vincent and Timothy, granddaughters Siera, Jasmine, Ava, Mya, Jade, grandsons Isaiah, Anthony, Devon, Isriel, Aaron, great granddaughters Olivia and Madeline, and great grandson Elias. 

A celebration of life will be held at American Heritage Funeral Home in Houston at 11:30am. Committal service will be held at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Houston at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Houston ASPCA.
