Michael Nam Nguyen, 37, of Houston, TX passed away on July 1, 2020. He was born in CT on Oct. 20, 1982 and graduated from Westfield High in 2001. Nam is dearly loved by his parents Ngoc & Ven Nguyen, older sisters: Huong, Lisa, Leelee, and many relatives & friends. He is deeply missed now and always.

Nam's dimples could light up a room. But it was his natural charisma that drew many others to him and how he did anything for others in need. Nam was passionate about basketball and enjoyed all things Jordan 23. One of his favorite authors is Malcolm Gladwell since reading, "The Tipping Point." After his recent injury, he became hungry for God's word.

Thank you Lord Jesus, that he is with you. Romans 8:35-39

Though his life was short, Nam's time here is so memorable because he lived life fully. Let's remember to live in this way in remembrance of him. We are so blessed to know God called Nam home early to be with Him, so he could escape the pain of this world.

With a heartfelt thank you, we are blessed to know that so many love and cherish Nam. Though we are all saddened that we can't see him in this world any longer, we know Nam is full of peace, joy, and love in the presence of Jesus. John 3:16

July 8, 2020

My deepest condolences to the family, but especially to you Huong. After Nam's accident I could see the pain in your eyes because of your deep love for your brother. I know you prayed for his complete recovery and looked forward to the day life would return to normal. There is so much we do not understand about life and death, we must rely on our faith to help us accept outcomes we would have never chosen. My love and prayers are with all of you. I can only hope as days pass the memories that now bring tears will be replaced with gentle smiles and joy.
Sincere hope for a brighter tomorrow, Angelica Sutton
