I am so sorry to hear about Nancy's illness and final passing. We were friends a St. Timothy's Methodist Church, in Seekers Sunday School Class and Woman's Society of Christian Service. I remember, when she was my secret pal, I received a greeting card from her every single week...then at the end of the year, a beautiful knitted poncho that she had bought on a trip to Mexico. She was always thinking of others. There were fond memories of her and Ray at various Seekers activities. ...fun times. Both Ray, and now, John, too, have passed on earlier. Nancy will surely be missed by her many friends and family, but we are so thankful that she too is resting peacefully now, free from all pain. May God bless you all.

Nancy Carol and I have been friends for seventy years. We began our friendship when my mother and I would go into the Wilmeth's grocery store on Humble Road to buy our groceries on Saturdays. Nancy and I would visit and play and Nancy would say to me, come out back of the grocery store that she had something to show me So, I would go with her asking what do you want to show me and she would tell me that she had a new litter of kitties. From that time on she and I have always shared our great love of each other and our cats. Nancy and I went to school together at Aldine and to church together at Beneke Methodist Church. In the last few years we have enjoyed going on several trips together. She and I were Best Friends. Nancy entered into Heaven on Monday, May 28th, my birthday. I truly have a Guardian Angel and she will remain in my heart forever and ever. I will always love you, Nancy Carol.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Ms. Buck was such a beautiful and caring sole, not to mention a sweet lady. I know that she was loved by all that knew her and she will be greatly missed. I am truly grateful that she is no longer in pain and she is at peace wrapped in the loving arms of our Lord. I pray that your loving memories of your mom will give you comfort during this time of sorrow.
