She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Honey; her sister, Becky Shoemaker Slater; and her father, Hart Shoemaker. She is survived by her son, Mark Honey; her daughter, Susan Honey; her grandson Jackson Honey; and her mother Dorothy Shoemaker. She devoted her life to her family and was a caregiver to all who knew her.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Chapelwood United Methodist Church, located at 11140 Greenbay Street, Houston, Texas, 77024 with interment to follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
