Nancy Farris Piazza, age 78, was called home by the Lord on Saturday, the 4th of January 2025, surrounded by love, and with family by her side. Nancy was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, on the 31st of July 1946, to Fitzgerald and Emma Farris. Nancy was cherished by everyone who knew her. We are blessed with the memory of her sassy spirit, big heart, and the way she lived life to the fullest, always with wit and a smile.
Nancy dedicated her career to the medical field, finding fulfillment in her commitment to helping others. She impacted many lives during her time.
Nancy is survived by her loving partner, John Matson, her daughter, Michelle Ciaravino and twin granddaughters, Gianna and Angelina. She is also survived by her sister Carolyn Tomlinson, and nieces Dale Guererri (John), Dinetia Bousson (Brent), and all those who loved her as "Aunt Nancy"; Emma Pryor, Camille Hanson (Andrew), Lillie and Corrine Hanson, John Darwin Guererri and Thomas Guererri.
The family will gather for a private inurnment at Glenwood Cemetery in Houston.
