Nancy Pritchard, 66, passed away on February 10, 2020 with family members at her side after succumbing to the effects of cancer, which she bravely fought.

Nancy was born on September 29th, 1953 in Hackensack, New Jersey. She grew up in Allendale, New Jersey, attending Northern Highlands Regional High School. She then moved to Austin, Texas attending The University of Texas at Austin before making her home in the Houston area for the remainder of her life. She established, and ran for many years, the successful executive search firm, Pritchard & Associates. Her true mission in life though was her family. She was deeply involved in the lives of her three children, Jennifer, Benjamin, and Stephen, guiding and cheering them on in school, sports, and life.

Nancy is survived by her daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Erik Rangel and their children Leonardo and Juliet, her son Benjamin Pritchard and his fiancé Shelby Corneil, and her son Stephen Pritchard and his wife Karli Welch and their son Bradley. Nancy had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, and they brought her enormous happiness. She is also survived by her mother Diane Krazynski, siblings Rudolph Bonaparte (Anna), Susan Thomas (Bob), and Joseph Bonaparte (Christine) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15th at 12:00 pm at Christ United Methodist Church in Sugar Land, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make donations in Nancy’s name to Child Advocates of Fort Bend, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, or a charity of your choice.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Nancy is a fond children memory from Prospect Street as she was my sister's best friend. Love and prayers for entire family.

So sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing. She was like a starburst, you couldn’t not notice Nancy. Bright, pretty, energetic, kind, funny, helpful, a razor focus and a vibrant can-do attitude beyond compare. This is how I remember her. Hugely committed to and enamored with her family. I know she will be sorely missed.

My sweet Nance,
Our friendship started in the middle of the street, literally, so many many years ago. Through every joy and heartache, you were there continuously calling to “check in.” Not once in all these years did we ever loose contact. We said “I love you” after each and every phone call. You were absolutely a tower of strength! A wonderful friend to me and such a great mother!
My heart just breaks.
I love and will miss you now and forever!

I am saddened to hear the news of Nancy Pritchard passing this week.
Although the Bonaparte family moved away to Texas during our teen years, they all remained close to my heart and I always missed our time together. I am so grateful to have visited Nancy and Dianne 2 years ago after so many years of wishing I could visit. Nancy and Dianne were so gracious to renew our loving memories of our shared life during the time before and after Rudy Sr. passed.
Peace and love be with the family during the time of saddness.

I am heartbroken. I had no idea. It wasn’t to long ago Nancy mentioned her mom was moving in with Susan in Chicago. I am staying in Chicago with my daughter temporarily watching my new grandson. I was looking forward to when she would visit. I had no idea she was even sick. We were each other’s oldest friends from Prospect Street in Hasbrouck Heights. I hope someone will reach out to me, Susan; Rudy or Joseph please.

I was so very sorry to hear about Nancy. I wasn't even aware she was sick. Just broke my heart. I have so many fond memories of Nancy when we lived in Avalon. She was beautiful, kind, intelligent woman who loved her children more than anything in the world. I know she will be missed dearly.
