

Naomi was born April 23, 1940 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Joseph and Mildred Copeland. After graduating high school, she began her career in bookkeeping working for CPA's in Oklahoma and Texas. In the 70's, she loved attending hockey games with her husband, Bill, and their friends. Naomi would watch golf, baseball, football and basketball along with Bill and after his passing she continued to watch with her daughter Jennifer. They were a sports family. Naomi loved traveling to visit her siblings Ernest, Patty, Mary Jo, Joyce, Erma and Kathryn. Naomi was a dedicated wife to her husband Bill, and dedicated mother to her daughters Cynthia and Jennifer.
Growing up, Naomi attended First Christian Church in Chelsea, Oklahoma. In the late 70’s, Naomi and husband Bill became members at Tulsa Bible Church in Tulsa until they moved to Houston. In 1990, they found their new home at Second Baptist Church. They eventually joined a Bible study and were very involved with their class. In May of 1995, Naomi went to work at Second Baptist Church in the Business office in accounts payable where she faithfully served for 30 years.
Mrs. Naomi Harrison was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, 4 sisters, her husband Bill Harrison, daughter Cynthia Baxter, and great granddaughter Angelica Montemayor. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Harrison, sister Kathryn Pawlak and husband Pete Pawlak, granddaughters Katherine Earley, Lena Noble and husband Matt Noble, great grandchildren Brenden, Bailey, Jude, Harbor, Isabella, Joshua, Annie, Olivia, Charlotte, great great grandchildren Riley and Adien, and several nieces and nephews.
