Naomi Reyna

Naomi Picazo Reyna passed away on February 1, 2013 at her home in Spring, Texas, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on August 12, 1932 in Houston, to Macario and Petra Picazo. Naomi was married to Joe Angel Reyna Jr until his death in 2007.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, her brothers Ben Picazo, Paul Picazo and Macario Picazo Jr., and her sisters Mary Porter and Lucy Marshall.

Naomi loved travelling the world, meeting new people, young and old and her daily walks. She was a caring mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. Naomi will be most remembered for her family stories and her valuable and caring advice to family and friends. She was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Houston,Texas.

Naomi is survived by her son Anthony Reyna (Hermosa Beach, CA), daughters Denise Mcgrath (Galveston, TX) and Monique (Paul) Pelletier (Fairfax, VA) grandchildren Kristen Plummer, Jeanne-Marie and Jacques Pelletier, and her great -grandchildren Kayden and Kyra Romanowski. She is also survived by her sister Petra Bartlett (Houston, TX) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Brookside Funeral Home Champions, February 6, 2013, 7-9 pm, 3410 FM 1960 W, Houston ,TX. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at noon, Trinity Lutheran Church, 800 Houston Ave.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Houston Hospice.
