Many were blessed to have known Nathan. He was loving, kind, selfless, courageous and a shining light in all that knew him. Nathan cared about people in the purest way. Though he faced a myriad of challenges that set him apart from his peers in many ways, Nathan made friends everywhere he went. He touched many lives with his generosity and passion for life. In keeping with Nathan’s loving and generous spirit; he gave the gift of life to someone else through his heart and kidney organ donations.
Mostly importantly Nathan had deep love for his family and cherished the time they spent together, enjoying family holidays, vacations, the beach, playing board games and cooking the family dinners.
Nathan loved dogs, especially his dog Theo. He also enjoyed music, traveling, shopping, antiquing, photography, the beach, dining, and vintage thrift stores. Nathan had a special gift of capturing people and special moments through his photography. He especially loved taking photos of his sister, niece, family members and friends.
His favorite song was “Wildest Dreams” by Taylor Swift. One of his favorite past times was watching survivor with his dad John.
Nathan attended St Ambrose Elementary, Salyards Middle School, Cypress Ranch High School and The University of Texas in Austin. While at UT, he was in the Moody College of Communication study speech, language, and hearing. Nathan felt he was blessed to be at the University and to be part of the SLHS program.
