Nell "Mamanell" Hebert

AVANELL LITTERAL HEBERT, 85, affectionately known as “MAMANELL”, passed away April 5, 2010. Mamanell was born December 28, 1924, to Virgil and Alkie Litteral in Salyersville, KY. She lived in Owensboro, KY, Longview, Ft. Worth and Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Leroy, her parents, and 10 of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Pat (Bill) Janacek of The Woodlands, TX; sister, Kitty Howard of Owensboro, KY; brother, Paul (Jane) Litteral, of Austin, TX; brother-in-law, Huey Long, of Houston; sister-in-law, Audrey Litteral of Houston; sister-in-law, Anne Hebert, of Port Neches, TX; 5 grandchildren Jamie (Travis) Yarbrough of The Woodlands, Jason (Christine Mackinnon) Janacek of New Orleans, LA, Jodie Janacek of The Woodlands, Jonathan Janacek and Joe Janacek of Ft. Collins, CO; 3 great-grandchildren Tori Yarbrough, Liam Mejia-Janacek and Kena Mejia-Janacek all of The Woodlands; longtime friend, Angela Grisaffe and her family, numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and friends throughout Houston and southeast Texas.

There will be a visitation on Friday, April 9, 12-2 PM in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 PM with Father Vincent Nguyen of Sts. Simon & Jude Catholic Church of The Woodlands as celebrant. The interment will take place at the Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
