I worked with Nell in Houstonisd (Admin Bldg) until her retirement. She always had a glow about her. As I read the obituary I remembered some of the names mentioned as family. She spoke of her family with pride.  Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in my thoughts and prayer.

Nell was such a friendly Go Club member.  We will miss her.

I went to Garden Oaks in the 1970's.  I remember her well.  She was a friendly face, someone you could always go to when you had a problem.
  When I 'grew up' and was working at Oak Forest Library, in the mid to late 1980's, and again 94-97, I remember her coming in once a week or so, to check out books.  I got to know her on a whole other level.
A weet, kind person, who will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with you...

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Nell at Curves, exercising together. She was a very friendly person and always had a smile for you. I will miss her. But I know she is with the Angels smiling down at us and watching over her family. My prayers are with you.

Nell was such a joy to work with.  We worked several years together she always had a smile on her face along with a word of kindness. The Christ in her always came out!  May God give each of you comfort in knowing Nell was loved by may, but God loved her best!

I have never met such a humble and sincere person as Nell.  She gave her all to the people around her unselfishly.  She will be missed dearly by the people whom she left such an impression upon.

So sorry about Nell's passing. She was the first neighbor to welcome us to the area with a list of all of the good place to go and eat. I've always appreciated that, even 11 years later.

I will always remember Nell for her sweet smile and kind words. She loved her family deeply. May you find comfort in knowing that she is at peace.

Nell was a quiet, loving, strong presence in our larger Thomas Family, the family line from which Richard came.  Her planning and hosting of the 2010 Reunion was efficient, gracious and fun.  Even though she was my cousin by marriage, I will miss our sister.  With All Love.  Bob

Nell has been my friend for many many years.  I am so saddened about this loss however, am so thankful we had weeks together visiting at our grandsons ballgames just before her surgery.  She was a very special lady and will be missed.
