She was born September 7, 1943 in Weslaco, Texas to the late Albert and Anna Faulkner. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Nugent and Judy Morrow.
Nellie graduated from Smiley High School and attended the University of Mary Hardin Baylor.
She was a dedicated employee of the Harris County Clerk’s Office from which she retired after 30 years of service. She was an active member of the IT May Community Center, and a huge Astros fan.
She enjoyed feeding and watching hummingbirds, reading books, and doing crossword puzzles (without cheating!)
The joy of her life were her two grandsons and her great granddaughter whom she absolutely adored.
As a beloved Mother and Grandmother, she is survived by her son James Albert “Jimmy” Vincent and wife Lori of Huffman, TX, grandsons Cody Tinnin and spouse Meagen of Crosby, TX, Mason Vincent of Huffman, TX and great granddaughter Arlo Mae Tinnin of Crosby, TX.
Also surviving are her two sisters, Billie Hankins and Patricia Moran of Huffman, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
