Above all, Nghia was a family man, a devoted son to his parents, Diep Kim Nguyen and Nam Van Nguyen, and a brother who made it clear, in everything he did, that his family was his priority.
Nghia had a career in Information Technology and office management, and he brought that same expertise and care to his family. He ensured that they were looked after in both large and small ways, never seeking recognition or anything in return. His support and thoughtfulness for his family were engrained in his being and evident to all.
Nghia poured himself into being present for his parents, taking care of them with a steadiness and devotion that spoke louder than words. He gave loving attention to his niece and nephews and was a brother who shared a special connection with each of his sisters.
Outside of the love he gave his family, Nghia lived a full and adventurous life. He was an avid foodie, gun enthusiast, a comic book collector, a scuba diver, a cyclist, a devoted reader, lifelong bargain hunter, and a traveler who loved seeing the world.
Nghia is survived by his mother, Diep Kim Nguyen, and his father, Nam Van Nguyen, DDS; his sister Lilly Adams and her husband Ryan Adams; his sister Gigi Zachry and her husband Woodie Zachry, and their sons Cole and Jonas Zachry; and his sister Nina Neal and her husband Chris Neal, and their children Van and Anha Neal.
A private family gathering will be held at Brookside Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway in Houston, Texas, 77039, on August 7 at 12:00 PM.
Nghia lived his life with love, giving love, and is loved. He leaves behind countless family members and friends whose lives he touched through his constant acts of service. He will be remembered not for what he said, but for everything he quietly did for all of us.
