Nghiem was born in Ben Tre My-Tho, Vietnam, and was a follower of Jesus Christ. She was raised by her maternal grandparents who shaped her faith. She married, Di Dinh Nguyen and together lived a blessed and meaningful life. She ministered alongside her husband, who Pastored an Alliance Church in Texas.
Her life is a testimony of God’s perfect love and mercy in an imperfect world. Our Mom saw her share of heartache, yet she had a compassionate and tender heart. She persevered tragedy while demonstrating God’s grace on her life. She loved Jesus who led her to many places including Cambodia, France and Houston, Texas. In practical ways, she brought the Gospel message to the marginalized in her community and she touched hundreds of lives. She was a person of great faith and courage, and she had a passionate and adventurous spirit carrying God’s discernment and anointing. She learned that when God sends His sheep, He goes before them.
She enjoyed gardening, creating wonderful culinary works of art and crafting beautiful dresses for her family. Our Mom had a keen eye for beauty. She will be dearly missed.
Nghiem is survived by her loving and committed husband, Rev. Di Dinh Nguyen and their children: Daniel P. Dinh Nguyen (Hieu Thao), My-Linh N. Lauer, Mai Nguyen Klein (Brent), An Dinh Nguyen (Elizabeth), Thao Vo (Tin), Celine Bower (Brett) and Henry Dinh Nguyen; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
