December 25, 1970 in Long Xuyen, Vietnam, but grew up in Sugar Land, Texas. He attended and graduated from Kempner High School and later went on to attend and graduate from The University of Houston. Later on he would work as an IT Manager for MD Anderson Cancer Center.
He is preceded in death by his father, Sum Ly.
He is survived by his wife, Lesley M. Goodman and son Travis William Ly.
The family would like to thank their Dad’s Club Family, St. Matthew’s Family, TAMUG family, friends
and neighbors for the care and compassion they showed Nguyen in his final days.
Guests are invited to join the family to celebrate Nguyen's life on Saturday September 28th beginning at 10:00 am at Chapel of Eternal Peace located at 2454 S Dairy Ashford Rd, Houston TX 77077.
