He accepted Christ at an early age. He graduated from Kashmere High School in Houston, Texas. After graduation, Nicholas entered into his lifelong profession and passion of the Transportation Industry (working at the Port of Houston, owner of his own trucking rig and driver of Big Rigs). He enjoyed success in this fast pace and steady changing industry. Prior to the onset of his illness; he was employed by NPE.
Nicholas loved nothing better than being around his family, entertaining and cooking for them. We, the family, loved nothing better than eating his food and enjoying his multiple jokes with his big mischievous smile. Lest we not forget those many fishing and hunting trips with his father, Mr. Thompson, that Nick enjoyed and looked forward to. We always knew deer season was in November. At that time Nick and Mr. Thompson were nowhere to be found but at their deer lease.
Nick accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour and we are confident that he is at wonderful peace now.
The family wish to acknowledge all the phone calls, visits and other support shown during this difficult period in the family's life. Thank you so much.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Cletis Thompson.
He leaves to cherish his memories, father, William B. Thompson; daughter, Michaela Thompson; sons, Nicholas B. Thompson II and Nolan P. Thompson; his sweetheart, Farry Everette as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
