Nick Argyriou, age 68 entered into rest on January 10, 2017 in Houston, Texas. He was born March 14, 1948 in Atalanti, Greece to the late Constantine and Panayota Argyriou. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Silvia, his daughter Carla and husband, Chris Pace; son Tino Argyriou; granddaughter Emma Pace and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins in Greece.
Nick moved to the United States at 18 years of age as a student and decided to make Houston his home. He served many roles throughout his life including son, student, waiter, business owner, story teller, father, and papou. Nick loved good food, drinks, debates, music, travel, and family. He was especially fond of the family of friends that adopted him and will be missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 20, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kristi Blankman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to a charity of your choice in his honor.
There will be a light reception immediately following the memorial service at Memorial Oaks event center.
