He also did contract work for other geophysical companies….in the oil crunch of the late 70’s, he changed gears and went into selling insurance. He was employed with Prudential Insurance and remained with them until his final retirement. While he was there he earned several awards. After retirement, he stayed busy helping so many people less fortunate than he with financing cars, houses, loans etc.…
Nick volunteered by helping in the local community helping others get/receive their GED and to pursue and/or further their education. He was also a big contributor to many of the softball organizations at every level from T-ball to College level. He was a member of the Prudential Retired Insurance agents and still had breakfast every Wednesday morning with a group of his friends.
Nick was raised in the Pentecostal faith and came to have a personal relationship with his Savior Jesus Christ that became extremely evident about 25 years ago – his relationship with God was obvious to anyone who met him by the way he lived his life. His giving spirit and his willingness to help anyone who needed a hand was more than apparent by anyone who knew him. His parents were Pentecostal Pastors for over 40 years and their prayers along with those of his family were answered for sure!!
