Nikolay Zhabrovets of Houston, TX passed away on April 7, 2026, at the age of 74. Nikolay was born on June 5, 1951 in Ukraine where he lived until he moved to Kazakhstan in his early 20s. In 2008, Nikolay, along with his wife, came to the United States, to join his children and their families.
Nikolay is survived by Valentina, his wife of 50 years, his daughter Natalya (Chris), and his son Alexandr (Olga), as well as his beloved grandchildren Evan and Zoya. Nikolay’s greatest joy in life was his family. A warm and gentle soul, he was cherished as the kindest father and grandfather, and he will be deeply missed.
Family and friends are invited to attend Nikolay’s funeral at Forest Park Westheimer (12800 Westheimer Rd) on April 9, 2026. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Forest Park Cemetery at 11 am.
