

Nila K. Lopez, 68, passed away on December 17, 2014. She was born in Kansas on April 11, 1945. Nila was a country girl at heart, growing up on a farm where she loved being in the country and horseback riding.
Nila attended Business School. She worked and retired as a Real Estate Agent. Nila was a member of The Community Cowboy Church. She had many hobbies some of which included spending her free time crocheting, crafts and playing cards.
Nila was preceded in death by her parents George and Olive Ellington. She is survived by her loving husband Anthony John Lopez; children, Josephine Melissa Rand and Samuel Kerschen; grandchildren, Brianna Kerschen, Jordan Kerschen and Robert Koronowski; great- grandchildren, Malachi Richard, Isabella Richard, Jonah Richard, Miles Rand, Mason Rand, Preston Koronowski and Hunter Koronowski.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Sanjaykumar Patel, MD, FACC; St. Lukes Hospital The Woodlands staff; Hometowne residents; Rochelle Cheek; and all of the friends who have been supportive during this difficult time. It has been greatly appreciated.
