Nina is preceded in death by her loving husband William Ungrad Jr.; sons Ronald Dale Simmons and Gerald Wayne Simmons.
She is survived by her daughter Dana Sue Hood and James Hood (husband); grandchildren Shynell Bushman and Mark Bushman (husband), Buck Hood and great grandson, Tyler Gruenzner.
A visitation for Nina will be held Monday, January 31, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Monday, January 31, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A graveside service will occur Monday, January 31, 2022 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
