Nora committed part of her life to help others. She explored her talent for caregiving by dedicating her time to the medical field while working at Moosa Memorial Hospital. As life progressed, she relocated to Houston, Texas. Nora's love for music was undeniable and she found joy in spending time with others, music going in the background, and would often get lost dancing the night away.
Nora left this world Tuesday morning, March 23, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones in the comfort of her home. She was preceded in death by her father, Sylvester Guillory, her mother, Leary Guillory, her sisters Annabelle Semien and Loretta Bellard, and her brother, Sherby John Guillory.
Left to mourn, cherish her in memories, and pass on her legacy are her long-time companion, Harry Hollis, her sons John “Peanut” Givs, Jr., Demetrius Givs, and Kendell Chambers, her grandchildren Joycelyn Greene, Mykah Wade, Jayden Givs, and a multitude of extended family and close friends.
