Nora Learline Golden Middleton

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and went to be with our Lord and Savior to her new eternal home in Heaven. She fought Cancer for several years and was very strong all the way to the end.

She was a very talented interior designer, floral designer and taught at Blackcat Ridge Community College. Nora also owned a store called “Accents by Design” in North Houston. She started two of the first chapters of her sorority in Houston and Humble as the president of Beta Sigmafi, a lifetime member since 1962. She is in the Humble history books for all the wonderful things she did and all the accomplishments for the community.

Nora was born to Nora Lee Parr (Golden) and Father George Melzer Golden. She had four children Jo Kaigler, Peggy Learline Kaigler (Holt), Robert Bryan Middleton and Jimmy C. Middleton. She was married to Jimmy Bryan Middleton for 59 years. Jimmy passed April 13, 2013. She married Joe Kosnick July 2016.

She is preceded in death by grandaughter Mackenzie Dover.

Nora “Mimi” was blessed with four grandchildren Kenny Dover born of Peggy Kaigler (Holt), Mark Kaigler born of Jo Kaigler, Robert Allen Middleton, Trisha Lou Middleton born to Cindy Davis, Robert Middleton and Wesley. Also blessed with four great grandchildren Sophia Dover, Bryce Middleton, Brayden Johnson-Middleton, Bradley Middleton, Raylynn, Khloe, Preston, Miracle and Langston. As well as two great-great granddaughters Lillyana Pena and Krista Dover. She had numerous nieces and nephews and their families that she adored.

Viewing: Tuesday- evening held at Brookside Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Wednesday- 10:00 AM held at Brookside Funeral Home

The service will be lead by Pastor Phil Meadows.
