Norberto Guzman Jr.

Norberto Guzman Jr., also known as Betito or Beto, was born on July 21st of 1988. He is the youngest son of three children. He is survived by his parents Herlinda Guzman Cazares and Norberto Guzman Sr.; sisters Maria Guzman (Jose Cantu) and Rosalinda Garza (Vital Garza); 6 nieces and 1 nephew; Alyza Cantu, Giselle Cantu, Isabel Garza, Sebastian Cantu, Briseis Cantu, Novalee Garza and Vianney Garza. He was a very kind and selfless person, reserved but always showing love to his family and close friends. He enjoyed doing business, always finding ways to continue growing and developing. This allowed him to give back by helping his family, especially those in Mexico. Spending time with his whole family was his favorite. He liked to spoil his “Cocomelons” Novalee and Vianney. In his selfless mindset he gave the last gift he could, the gift of life. Three individuals today have received a donation of organ from Betito; a 44-yr old male received his heart, a 62-yr old male, who had been waiting 10 yrs for his gift, received his liver and right kidney, and a 59-yr old male received his left kidney. His family will miss his presence and kind spirit the most. May he rest in peace.

Norberto Guzman Jr. conocido como Betito o Beto nació en Julio 21 de 1988, el hijo menor de la familia. Le sobreviven sus padres, Herlinda Guzman Cazares y Norberto Guzman Sr.; hermanas Maria Guzman (Jose Cantu) y Rosalinda Garza (Vital Garza); 6 sobrinas y 1 sobrino; Alyza Cantu, Giselle Cantu, Isabel Garza, Sebastian Cantu, Briseis Cantu, Novalee Garza, y Vianney Garza. Era una persona muy amable y desinteresada, reservado, pero siempre mostrando amor a su familia y amigos cercados. Le gustaba hacer negocios, siempre encontrando la manera de seguir creciendo y desarrollándose. Esto le permitió ayudar a su familia, especialmente a los de México. Pasar tiempo con toda su familia era su favorito. A el le gustaba consentir a sus "Cocomelons" Novalee y Vianney. Su generosidad lo llevó a dar ultimo regalo: el regalo de la vida. Tres personas recibieron una donación de órganos de Betito; Un hombre de 44 años recibió su corazón, un hombre de 62 años, que había estado esperando 10 años por su regalo, recibió su higado y riñon derecho, y un hombre de 59 años recibió su riñón izquierdo. Su familia extrañara muchísimo su presencia y su espíritu generoso. Que descanse en paz.

A prayer service will occur Monday, July 7, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 7539 Avenue K, Houston, TX 77012. A committal service will occur Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023.
