Norma Jean was an amazing person with a heart of gold.  I will miss her smile, big hugs and how her incredible spirit would overtake the room and warm everyone’s heart. She showed me that family is everything in every moment. Love conquers all things.

My memory, I will always keep with me is when we came to visit you in Houston about 10 years ago and you’re welcome me into your  home and asked if you can sing a song to me. I felt pure love at that moment. Thank you Madrina. I will always cherish that memory. Until we meet again, Madrina. your Goddaughter Kimmy, Ruben, and Ethan.

I don’t know how I will ever fill this void. You always prepared me for this day but I was never ready, I’m still not. I’ve been by your side these last 5 years you’ve been sick & I’ll be there one last time. I’ll remember you every time I watch one of our favorite movies & when someone plays You Are My Sunshine.  I love you grandma ,  save a seat for me right on your lap.
