Katy --- Norma Flynn, raised her family in the Austin area, died Friday the 26th of May in her home in Katy, Texas. Born in 1934 in Seguin, Texas, Norma graduated from Seton Nursing School, then worked as an Anesthesia nurse for more than 40 years in the Austin Area.
Norma was committed to her family, friends, and church communities both in the Austin and Katy areas. She lived her life in service of others and in the end her church family and friends were there for her. She was always giving and forever grateful for receiving.
Norma lost her husband and love of her life, Jim, 2 years ago and was also proceeded in death by her parents, brothers, and oldest grandson Michael. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Jacque, Wendy, and Julie, their husbands, Mike, Robby and Brian, her grandchildren Heather, Timbo, Dusty, Andrew, Bobby, Lindsey, Alex, Austin, Jacob, Max, Christopher, their spouses, and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister in law Liz, and her beloved niece and nephew, Kathleen and Dennis, and their families.
Memorial gifts may be made to St. Edith Stein Catholic Church in Katy, or St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church of Austin.
